FAU’s NSF I/UCRC CAKE has received $600,000 of a $1 million

2020 research project deals with new ways for enhancing people’s
quality of life, by improving their interaction with the environment,
and by boosting resource optimization.” “The goal of the CAMPUS
2020 project is to provide multi-source information and interface
between humans and natural/man-made environments, using
mobile tech devices as well as allowing for real-time sensor-based
decisions and actions,” said Daniel Raviv, Ph.D., professor of
electrical engineering at FAU. Levine currently holds 76 patents,
including a VCR programmer and the digital thermostat.
