We have produced software for identifying
certain types of system errors and failures in
battery monitoring data, and are continuing to
work on our other goals.
Key outcomes and achievements of this project
include the development of improved battery
monitoring software.
The goal of this project is to develop tools for
monitoring battery health, both to detect any
failures in the monitoring system and to predict
the battery’s remaining useful life. The major
activities for the project are developing software
(and the corresponding documentation) for
cleansing battery data, detecting instrumentation
faults, and predicting battery life, as well as
preparing scientific publications discussing the
novel approaches created for this software.
The objective of this project is to improve
the state-of-the-art in battery monitoring and
maintenance.
